TWiT 112: Blimey!

Hosts: Leo Laporte, Wil Harris, Mike Masnick, and John C. Dvorak

Steve Jobs's blunder, Foleo flops, and a wife gets her husband's attention...

  • What irked the most people during the Apple iPod-related announcements was a $200 price drop to $399 in the iPhone. All those people who waited hours in line were incredibly infuriated. • According to New Scientist, a gamer's button presses can be predicted by skin signals.
  • A Chinese woman cut off her husband's hands because he was paying too much time on the Internet.
  • Bee disappearances are not due to cell phones, but due to a virus from Australia.
  • Geeks are using Amazon's Mechanical Turk to scan through Google Maps images.
