Samsung NC2012.1Mini Notebook

Is it a netbook? Is it a notebook? Who knows? Who cares?

The 12 inch widescreen Samsung NC20 doesn't really fit into any category in particular. It is slightly too big to be a netbook, and slightly too underpowered to be a notebook. Its price? Well, that falls right in the middle too.

Featuring a 1.3 ghz Via NANO processor, it has roughly the guts and power of a netbook, but more importantly, it has the power consumption of one too. The fact that its a 12 inch chassis however, allowed Samsung to neatly stuff in a six cell battery, so that you can get extremely long periods of use out of this machine. It has a full size keyboard with a great feel, it has a beautiful 12 inch widescreen, and a slim form factor that only tips the scales at a touch over 3lbs.

Basicly, if you just use the Internet on the go, but you are sick of tiny screens and cramped keyboards, this is the computer to get. You can easily bring it everywhere and use it all day like a netbook, it is as affordable as a netbook, but it has all the functionality of a notebook as long as you are not trying to play games or do some serious number crunching.
