We here at TWiT absolutely love the Apple iPod touch.

This device is a tremendous value, extremely versatile, and absolutely beautiful to use and to hold.

It is so good, Colleen even wants one, and she is almost allergic to any electronics device with a fruit on it.

The iPod touch has a brilliant screen, 8gb, 16gb, or 32gb of storage, a full operating system... the same one on the iPhone, WiFi connectivity, the Safari web browser based on webkit, and access to the Apple app store. Phonesaber anyone?

Just like the iPhone, the iPod touch utilizes a capacitative touch screen with software that is multi touch enabled. The interface is perfectly tuned, and so responsive you feel like you really are moving the windows around the screen.

Also, this device is so thin, you wouldn't believe it.

You know what else is cool? The iPod touch has a faster processor than the iPhone. The 2nd gen touch has a 532 MHz processor, where the iPhone and first gen touch has a 412 MHz processor.
