App Pick: Lumyer

Megan Morrone's app cap on iOS Today 334 is Lumyer. This is an app that will do funny things with your selfies. It has animated effects that you can apply to your photos, which can make it look like you're blowing a bubble, give yourself hair that's blowing in the wind, and much more. You can add confetti, hearts, broken glass effects, balloons, and more by tapping on the screen as well.

You can add these effects to photos or you can start recording in the app to create live Lumys, and their library of effects is constantly being updated. Once you've created your Lumy, you can save it as a Live Photo or GIF, and share it to Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Whatsapp, and more. The Lumyer watermark will be shown in every photo, but an in-app purchase of $1.99 will remove it. There are also additional effects available for $0.99 each.
