iOS Pick: Adobe Apps

Leo Laporte's app cap on iOS Today 266 involves multiple apps from Adobe. First is the newest version of Photoshop Express, which is essentially a version of Photoshop for iPad. Adobe now allows you to take pictures from within the app, then import and modify them. The app has sophisticated tools including color correction, red eye reduction, blemish removal, and noise reduction. There are also lots of filters you can apply and other features available that can be activated with in-app purchases.

Adobe also has an app called Adobe Voice. It allows you to create a story by recording audio, and then you can add images and icons that make it almost like a narrated slideshow.

Photoshop Mix is another new Adobe app on iOS, and it allows you to cut out, combine, and blend pictures together to create multilayered images. The app utilizes the touch screen so you can just "paint" colors and effects onto an image with your finger. It will intelligently cut things out of images so you can overlay them on another image.

If you use Photoshop or Lightroom on the desktop, and have a Creative Cloud account, the changes made on iPad will automatically sync to the desktop as well.
