Leo Laporte's app cap on iOS Today 334 is Trnio. This is a 3D modeling app for iOS. You'll take photos all around the object, and Trnio will send those images off to the server to be processed and converted into a high-quality 3D scan. It takes about 10 pictures for still objects and 20 pictures for a person. There is a learning curve to using this app, however, so it may take some practice to get decent results.
