Mac Pick: Disney Open Source

Leo Laporte's pick of the week on MacBreak Weekly 529 is Disney Open Source. This program is meant to encourage their developers to utilize Open Source, contribute to the projects, and release more software as Open Source. As a result, Disney has put together many of their projects on a website.

These projects include Munki, which is a way for OS X administrators to manage software installs over the network on client machines. There's also Reposado, which lets you duplicate Mac OS X software updates service on your own servers using Python. There's an open computer graphics interchange framework, a texture mapping system for production-quality rendering, and more.
