Tip: Apple Summer Camp for Kids

Rene Ritchie's tip on MacBreak Weekly 512 goes along with the theme of Apple's new Swift Playgrounds app. Apple has been doing Apple Camps for a few years, and it's done at nearly every Apple retail store on the Northern Hemisphere. This is a free summer day camp, and traditionally you could sign up kids 8-12 for storytelling with iMovie and iBooks.

This year, Apple is adding a third week for coding games and programming robots. They are using Sphero for the robot programming, and kids will learn basic code and commands. Apple is even doing something for the parents at these camps. They'll explain more about the apps, show you family sharing, and more.
