Tip: Capture Lightning with Your Camera

Have you ever tried to take a picture of lightning with a camera? There's a lot of great lightning shots that can be found online, but it's very difficult to actually do it. Professional Voice Actor and Photographer Jim Cutler has a way to get better and more consistent lightning shots.

One of the ways you can get lightning photos is with a little device called the Lightning Trigger. This will connect to your camera and activate the shutter when it detects the beginnings of a flash. Lightning is actually not just one quick shot -- it's actually about 10 or 15 micro shots. This device captures the first couple of blinks, and then opens the camera shutter to get the rest.

The Lightning Trigger works with all of the popular cameras from Sony, Nikon, Canon, and Panasonic. Check the website at lightningtrigger.com for more.
