Tip: Keep Up on the Latest in Earthquake Science

Julian Lozos, seismology expert, has a recommendation on how to keep up on the latest earthquake science. Most of what you hear in popular media has been somwhat distilled and talked over by the scientific community already. But if you want to hear what the scientists are working on right now, it's worth checking out the USGS Earthquake Seminar Series.

If you're in the Bay Area, you can stop by the USGS office in Menlo Park on Wednesdays at 10:30am. There's also an entire archive that goes back over 10 years. It has talks from various scientists discussing their own work.
