Tip: Safely Store Hard Drives Without Enclosures
On MacBreak Weekly 526, Andy Ihnatko had a tip for people who have a lot of hard drives without enclosures. These cheap raw drives are great if you just need to offload files from your computer, and you don't need those files accessible to you at all times. When it comes time to store those drives someplace, it can be awkward and inconvenient. You can buy plastic cases on Amazon, but those are often overpriced.
This is why Andy recommends getting simple plastic storage cases for 2.5" drives on eBay. It costs just $1.39 a piece, and for that price, you can safely store all of your drives.
